AUBURNDALE, Fla. – Sophomore first baseman
Garrett Shea smacked a grand slam home run to cap a six-run first inning and the Illinois Wesleyan baseball team went on to a 10-3 win over SUNY-Fredonia in the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational at the Chain o'Lakes Park in Winter Haven, Fla., on Tuesday, March 13.
The Titans improved to 6-1 this season while Fredonia falls to 8-2.

Ben Manski walked to leave the bases loaded for Shea's blast.
Shea finished with four hits and five runs batted in while Bosco and Cavalieri each had three hits in an 18-hit Titan offensive attack.
In his first start of the season, freshman right-hander
Joe Prestamer (1-0) threw seven strong innings, allowing one run on four hits with one walk and five strikeouts.

Illinois Wesleyan has added a game in Florida to fill an open date and will play Hamilton College at 6 p.m. ET at the Chain o'Lakes Park in Winter Haven, Fla.
