Illinois Wesleyan Women's Soccer Shut Out in NCAA Regional Second Round Play

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The No. 1 ranked Washington U. women's soccer team set the tone with a goal 20 seconds into the match and went on to hand the Illinois Wesleyan Titans a 3-0 setback in the second round of the NCAA Division III Regional at Francis Field in St. Louis on Sunday, Nov. 11.

The Titans have their season end with a 14-5-2 record while the Bears are 19-0 and have won a school-record 19 straight games.

WashU's Taylor Cohen got her 13th goal of the game with 20 ticks of the clock gone with an assist to Ariana Miles. Cohen scored her 14th goal of the year at the 9:23 mark on a one-time after a cross set up by Miles and Erin Flynn.
The final Bears' goal was at 54:17 when Kristen Reikersdorfer struck from 20 yards out.

Illinois Wesleyan was outshot, 25-2 and the Bears had eight shots on goal to one for IWU.
