ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – A goal in the final minute of the second overtime sent the Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team to a 1-0 loss to Augustana College on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at at Thorsen Lucken Field in Rock Island, Ill.
The loss was the third straight for Illinois Wesleyan, now with a record of 8-4-0 with a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin mark of 1-3-0. The Vikings improved to 4-7-0 overall and 2-2-0 in the conference.
Salah Aghlaf scored with 59 seconds left in the second overtime (at 109:01) with an assist from Daniel Artman for the only goal of the game.

Alex Ruckstaetter had one save while starter Jeremy Klaber had five saves and Jeff Bell made three more for the Augustana total of eight.

Illinois Wesleyan continues CCIW play with a 7:30 p.m. game on Saturday, Oct. 13, against Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis. The Red Men are 7-7-0 overall and 3-1-0 in the league.
