NAPERVILLE, Ill. --The Illinois Wesleyan women's tennis team took wins over North Central and Monmouth College on Sunday, Sept. 24, in Naperville, Ill. The Titans downed North Central 9-0 and defeated the Fighting Scot by a 7-2 score.
The wins give Illinois Wesleyan a 3-3 overall record and the victory over the Cardinals levels the IWU record to 2-2 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin. North Central is 2-4 overall and 1-2 in the CCIW while Monmouth slipped to 2-10.
The Titans will play next on Saturday, Oct. 7, against CCIW opponents Carthage (9 a.m.) and Carroll (3 p.m.) at IWU's Beadles-Morse Courts.
