BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The Illinois Wesleyan men's lacrosse team had 11 players in the goal-scoring column on the way to a 17-5 victory over Augustana College at Tucci Stadium on Wednesday, April 12.
The win puts the IWU overall record at 9-3 overall and 3-1 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin as Augustana slips to 5-8 overall and 1-1 against league foes.
Offensively, IWU outshot Augustana 68-27 and had a 40-15 advantage in shots on goal. The Titans had a 22-4 edge in face offs and won 51 ground balls to 22 for Augie. Sophomore midfielder
J.C. Grabarek was 20 of 24 in face offs and had 13 ground balls.
