Luke Cangilla scored his first career goal for the Titans at the 30:36 mark in the first half, which would later prove to be the game-winning goal. Junior
Ryan Kaplan assisted on the play, his first of the year.
With a win the Titans improve to 4-4-1 on the season, while the Gorloks fall to 3-6-0. With eight games remaining in the regular season, the Titans are two wins away from matching last seasons win total.

Eddie Sanchez earned the win in goal, saving three shots in a shut-out, his first complete shut-out of the season. Despite taking more shots with 17, the Gorloks only placed three on target.

The Titans kick off conference play this week for homecoming, facing off against new CCIW foe Carroll University on Saturday, Oct. 1. Kick-off is set for 6:30 p.m. at Neis Field.
