LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The No. 15-ranked Illinois Wesleyan softball team held on to win game one and rallied with three late unearned runs to win game two at Lake Forest College on Saturday, March 26.

The Titans have now won seven straight games after winning by scores of 5-3 and 4-2 against the Foresters, who are 3-8 this year.

She was supported by the offense of senior shortstop Sam Gudat's three hits and three doubles from freshman Julie Josten. Bonds had two hits, scored twice and kocked home a run and senior catcher Danielle Smith had a hit with two RBI as the Titans outhit Lake Forest 11-5.

The Titans trailed 2-1 with two outs and no one on base in the top of the sixth when Josten doubled to left field and freshman Jillian Runyon reached first on an error, allowing Josten to come around with the tying run.
