BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan women's basketball team fell to No. 8-ranked Washington University in St. Louis on Sunday, Nov. 27 by a final score of 87-86. Junior Molly McGraw scored a game-high 33 points on 13-of-27 shooting from the field.

IWU held a 36-34 advantage heading into the locker room at halftime due in part to 15 first half points from McGraw. The three-point shooting of sophomore Nina Anderson was a difference maker as Anderson went 2-of-4 from beyond the arc in the first.

WashU. dominated the third period, outscoring IWU 31-20. The Bears closed the quarter on a 19-10 run to pull ahead of the Titans by nine points heading into the fourth period.
