MONMOUTH, Ill. -- Sophomore shortstop
Jarrod Juskiewicz got four hits and the Illinois Wesleyan baseball team banged out 16 hits in a 6-3 nonconference win at Monmouth College on Wednesday, April 29.
The Titans, who scored single runs in the last four innings, improved to 24-11 this season and the Fighting Scots are 15-17.

Derek Idstein had three hits and drove home two runs and junior centerfielder
Adam Glogovsky had two hits with two RBI. Sophomore rightfielder
Nick Huskisson, freshman leftfielder
Mike Plecki and junior first baseman
Matthew Mardis each had two hits with Idstein, Juskiewicz and Huskisson all collecting doubles.
Senior
Adam Seifert (1-0), the third of seven IWU pitchers in the game, picked up his first collegiate mound win as he worked 1 1/3 shutout innings, allowing two hits and a walk.

Dan Truesdale earned his seventh save of the season, striking out two in a scoreless, hitless ninth inning. His seven saves is tied for second in an IWU season and one away from the record of eight, set by John Wantiez in 2006.
What's Next?Illinois Wesleyan hosts Wheaton in a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin single game at 5 p.m. Friday, May 1. IWU will play a doubleheader at Wheaton on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. ... The final regular season home game against Concordia Chicago, scheduled for next Monday, has been cancelled with no make-up date set.
