IWU worked eight innings to get a 15-8 win over Buena Vista Univeristy before scoring four runs in the top of the sixth to complete a 6-5 comeback win over No. 18-ranked Washington U.

In the opener, IWU jumped out to an early lead with four runs in the top of the first, and would lead 7-2 after three innings.
