Men's Soccer Streak Ends at Four in Shutout

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The four-game winning streak put together by the Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team ended with a 2-0 setback to undefeated Rose-Hulman at Neis Field on Sunday, Sept. 14.

The Titans' record is now 4-3-0 and the Engineers are 4-0-2.

Rose-Hulman got a goal from Andrew Bartush on a corner kick assist from Franco Cattani at the 58:02 mark and tacked on a second goal at 88:35, an unassisted goal by Ben Lyon.

Illinois Wesleyan outshot Rose-Hulman 19-6 and Titan keeper Mark Streid made one save while Rose-Hulman's Drew Miller made three.

Illinois Wesleyan hosts nonconference Dominican University on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 7 p.m.
