Box Score ELMHURST, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's lacrosse team lost with 2:24 to play in the second overtime period at Elmhurst, 7-6, on Monday, April 21.
In the first overtime game in school history in the school's inaugural season, the third straight loss sends the Illinois Wesleyan record to 8-5 while the Bluejays improved to 7-8.
Michael Julius scored two goals and IWU got one goal each from Andrew Schrieber,
Evan Mok-Lamme,
Tyler Rauwolf and
Jordan Gagnon. Mok-Lamme and
Colin Daly each had assists for the Titans.
IWU goalkeeper
Steven Laduzinsky made nine saves.
Both teams had 32 shots and Elmhurst had 35 ground balls to 28 for IWU. The Titans were guilty of 17 turnovers to 14 for Elmhurst.
