Box Score BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - In their final home game of the inaugural season, the Illinois Wesleyan men's lacrosse team was beaten, 15-8, by Transylvania at Tucci Stadium on Saturday, April 19.
The Titans are 8-4 overall while the Pioneers improved to 5-7.
Transylvania scored four goals in each of the first two periods and was held scoreless in the third before scoring seven fourth period goals. The Titans trailed 8-5 at halftime and 8-6 after three quarters.
Tim Smith scored three goals and had two assists to lead IWU, who was outshot by a 53-29 count.
Jordan Gagnon had two goals and the Titans got one goal each from
Evan Mok-Lamme,
Michael Julius and Andrew Schrieber.
