BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Senior Molly McCready became the school's all-time shutout leader as she pitched Illinois Wesleyan to complete game wins of 6-0 against Wis.-Eau Claire and 6-0 against Anderson at the IWU Field on Sunday, April 13.

The two wins give No. 19-ranked Illinois Wesleyan a record of 22-5 overall and McCready is 12-2. She allowed five hits in each of the games on Sunday, walking one and striking out three against Wis.-Eau Claire and striking out eight while allowing no walks in the Anderson win.

McCready now has 17 career shutouts, topping the mark of 16 set by Christy Engel from 2007 to 2010. To see McCready's career numbers through April 13, click here.

Against the Blugolds (17-13), Illinois Wesleyan scored four in the fifth and two in the sixth to earn the 6-0 win in game one.
Junior rightfielder Hannah Bowen delivered the big hit, a bases-loaded triple down the rightfield line. Bowen got her fourth run batted in in the sixth when she knocked in sophomore first baseman Cassidy Tarpey on a ground out.
Sophomore centerfielder Kyley McKeown had three hits for IWU and senior second baseman Sara Rogers had two.

The Titans had 11 hits vs. Anderson (18-5) in a game delayed just over an hour by rain. IWU got two in the third, one in the fifth and three more in the sixth. McKeown had a three run home run while Rogers, senior shortstop Amanda Fazzari, senior designated hitter Allie Riordan and senior catcher Sara Daley each had two hits in offensive support of McCready's pitching.
