Titan Lacrosse Outplayed by Carthage, 24-6

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Carthage men's lacrosse team outshot the Illinois Wesleyan Titans, 57-16, leading to a 24-6 loss at Tucci Stadium Saturday, April 12.
 
The Titans sit at an 8-3 record, while the Red Men improve to 11-4.
 
The Red Men put up six goals each period, as IWU had a slower start, finally scoring two in the second period, one in the third, and three in the final period.
 
IWU's Colin Daly (2), Michael Julius (1), Tyler Rauwolf (1), Andrew Schreiber (1), and Jordan Gagnon (1) each scored goals.
 
Daly, Evan Mok-Lamme, and Tim Smith contributed one assist apiece.
 
IWU collected 25 ground balls to Carthage's 35, as the Titans were out-done on face-offs, 23-10.
 
In the net, Titan goalie Ty Tuey had 11 saves in 45 minutes. Steven Laduzinsky added four saves in his 15 minutes of playtime.
 
What's Next?
The Titans will face Transylvania University Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m. in Bloomington, Ill.
