IWU Men's Lacrosse Posts 21-2 Win Over Dubuque

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's lacrosse team scored early and often in posting a 21-2 win over the University of Dubuque at IWU's Tucci Stadium on Friday, April 11.

The Titans improved to 8-2 this season and the Spartans are winless in 10 games.

Illinois Wesleyan got four goals and an assist from Evan Mok-Lamme while Andrew Schrieber and Tyler Rauwolf each had three goals. Schrieber had two assists and Rauwolf had one.

Jacob Perry, Jordan Gagnon, Colin Daly and Connor Coffey each had two goals while Tim Smith, Michael Julius and Andy Justl each had one in the offensive barrage that saw IWU outshoot Dubuque 50-17.

Perry also had six assists while Smith helped on four goals and Gagnon and Julius each had one assist.

IWU collected 51 ground balls to 31 for Dubuque and the Titans won 16 of 26 faceoffs.

Steven Laduzinsky (15 minutes, one save), Ty Tuey (30 minutes, two saves) and Jordan Staley (15 minutes, two saves) all saw time in goal for the Titans.

What's Next?
The Titans have brief turnaround time, hosting Carthage at 3 p.m. Saturday at Tucci Stadium.
