IWU Women's Hoops Roll Over Vikings, 85-71

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan women's basketball team was led by senior Colleen McMahon, who scored 27 points, en route to an 85-71 Titan victory over Augustana at Rock Island, Ill., Wednesday (Feb. 5) night.
 
The Titans are now 14-6 overall and 8-1 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, while the Vikings fall to 5-16 and 1-9 in the league.
 
IWU controlled a majority of the game, only exchanging the lead twice throughout the two periods. The Titans led Augie 41-36 going into halftime, which translated to a similar 44-35 second half performance.
 
IWU forced 34 Viking turnovers, scoring 44 points off them. The Titans were narrowly outrebounded, 38-33.
