Illinois Wesleyan (19-7) will move on to the championship game tomorrow at 7 p.m. to face Carthage (23-3). The Lady Reds defeated Elmhurst, 82-73, following the Titans' victory.

Throughout the game, the lead changed six times between the Titans and Thunder, but IWU was able to put up a 13-point lead with eight seconds on the clock to seal the victory. Wheaton's largest lead was five points qith 13:11 to go in the first half.

The Titans forced 21 turnovers and scored 25 points off them, while the Thunder narrowly outrebounded IWU, 42-37.

What's Next?
The Titans and Lady Reds split this season with both teams winning on their home court – Carthage by a 90-83 score in Kenosha on Jan. 25 and IWU by a 69-57 score on Feb. 15.
Illinois Wesleyan is making its 11th appearance and 10th straight in the CCIW tournament. IWU had won six straight tournaments prior to 2013, making an exit in the first round for the first time ever. IWU now has a 16-4 record in CCIW tournament play.
