BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan women's basketball team closed out its regular season with a 73-52 win over North Park at the Shirk Center on Wednesday, Feb. 25.
The Titans will head into College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin tournament play with an 18-7 overall record and finished 12-2 in the league. North Park finished 12-13 overall and 5-9 in the conference.
The Titans necver trailed and built up a 40-29 lead at halftime. IWU's largest lead was 21 points on two occasions - 60-39 with 13:27 left and at the end of the game. North Park had a 40-38 rebounding lead on IWU, who was led by the six boards of senior
Taylor Reaber. The Titans forced 33 Viking turnovers while committing 21 themselves.
