Box Score MONTCLAIR, N.J. - The Illinois Wesleyan women's basketball team finished the non-conference portion of its 2014-15 schedule with a 63-57 loss to Baruch College in the third place game of the Sheraton Parsippany Holiday Tournament on Monday, Dec. 29 at the Panzer Athletic Center in Montclair, N.J.
IWU has an overall record of 6-5 and the Bearcats improved to 5-4.

The Titans jumped out to a 25-14 lead in the game with 10:04 to play in the first half before the Bearcats held IWU scoreless for 6 1/2 minutes and went on a 17-0 run to claim a 31-25 lead with 3:35 before halftime.
The Titans were within four at 33-29 at intermission and ralied back to tie the game at 34-34 and at 36-36 with 16:03 remaining in the game. But the Bearcats again went on a run, scoring 10 straight points fo forge a 46-36 lead with 10:58 to go in the game and the Titans never closed the gap completely.
Sophomore
Gabrielle Holness, who led IWU with 16 points, was named to the all-tournament team.

Alina Lehocky, Illinois Wesleyan had a 46-42 lead in rebounds and the Titans committed 22 turnovers while forcing the Bearcats into 24 miscues.

Molly McGraw, whose flu symptoms prevented her from making the New Jersey trip ... IWU is now 2-1 all-time vs. Baruch. IWU beat the Bearcats, 75-70 in 2010 and 74-58 in 2005.
