BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team finished the 2014 campaign with a 2-0 defeat coming at the hands of North Central College at Neis Field on Saturday, Nov. 1.

With the loss, the Titans finish the season 7-12-0 and 1-6-0 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin while the visiting Cardinals improved to 10-7-1 and 3-4-0 in the CCIW. 

IWU honored eight seniors on "Seniors Day", but were unable to send them out a winner as NCC found the back of the net in the 7th minute (6:08) to take an early 1-0 lead. The Cardinals would then push their lead to 2-0 in the 81st minute (80:13) to take a 2-0 lead, which would end up being the final score.

The Titans outshot North Central College 17-7 including a 7-2 shots on goal advantage, but the Cardinals were able to make the most of their two shots on goal by converting them into goals.

Senior Jared Casey led all players with four shots, while fellow seniors John Pisani, Colin Rathe and David Myers each had one shot on goal.
