IWU Men's Soccer Blanked by North Park

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team lost a 3-0 decision to No. 20-ranked North Park at Neis Field on Wednesday night, Oct. 15.

The Titans were shutout for the second straight match and are now 7-8-0 overall and 1-2-0 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin while North Park improved to 11-2-0 overall and 3-0-0 in the league.

North Park outshot Illinois Wesleyan, 13-9, and held a 7-3 edge in shots on goal. Diego Lashlee, Fredrik Greiff and Pedram Tahmi-Masolah each had goals for the Vikings and Fredrick Anderson had two assists with Greiff adding one.

IWU hosts another nationally-ranked foe in No. 9 Wheaton College on Homecoming Saturday, Oct. 18, at 7 p.m. at Neis Field.
