ELMHURST, Ill. – In the first College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin league game, the Illinois Wesleyan women's basketball team ousted Elmhurst, 82-55, Saturday, Jan. 4, afternoon at R.A. Faganel Hall, as three Titans reached double-figure performances.

The Titans are now 7-5, and 1-0 CCIW on the season, while the Bluejays are 8-4, 0-1.

IWU entered halftime ahead of Elmhurst, 45-26, after going on a 25-7 run over a 10-mintue span earn in the first. In the second, the Titans continued to extend their lead, jumping ahead by as many as 35 points just under three minutes on the clock, to secure the CCIW opening victory.
