DECATUR, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan women's basketball team earned its seventh College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin victory of the season defeating Millikin, 94-78, Wednesday (Jan. 29) evening.

Colleen McMahon, each with over 20 points, led the Titans.
 
IWU extends its record to 13-6 overall and 7-1 in the league, while the Big Blue are 8-11, 2-6. The game was the annual "PinkZone" game at Millikin to raise money and awareness for cancer - both teams' head coaches (shown below) are cancer survivors.
 
From tipoff, IWU controlled much of the first half, leading to a 47-36 Titan lead at halftime.
 
However, the Big Blue closed the gap early in the second half, keeping the game within a couple possessions. The Titans closed the door just under the six-minute marker, when 
Lexi Baltes hit a three pointer, creating some momentum, to put the score at 82-67.
 
The Titans forced 33 Big Blue turnovers, but were outrebounded 38-33.
