Illinois Wesleyan and North Central combined to set a new College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin record for total points scored with 221 during the game, breaking the previous record set during a 113-107 win by North Central against Carthage in 1992.

The IWU school record for points in a game is 126, set at Olivet Nazarene on Dec. 12, 2011, and second is 125 against North Central on Jan. 16, 2013. The school record for field goals is 50 (North Central, Jan. 16, 2013) and IWU also had 48 field goals in the 2011 Olivet Nazarene shootout.
It is also tied for the third most assists (32) in a game for an IWU team - the school mark is 37 against Milwaukee School of Engineering on Dec. 29, 2007.

The Titans also extended their winning streak to six and remain undefeated in the CCIW at 6-0 and 12-5 overall. North Central is 9-8 and 2-4 in the league.

Senior Colleen McMahon scored an IWU-high 28 points, while senior Shelby Jackson (23 points, 11 rebounds) notched a double-double and freshman Gabrielle Holness (21 points) scored a career-high.

Both the Titans and Cardinals had an even flow of baskets, as IWU was able to sit atop at halftime, 53-50, and hold on until the final buzzer.
