Kayla Kindred, a 2008 Illinois Wesleyan graduate, is savoring her role as Senior Executive Assistant/Marketing Coordinator for the Chicago Blackhawks. The National Hockey League team won the 2013 Stanley Cup, the second time since Kindred has been working for the organization, with the other coming in 2010.

A native of Bloomington, Ill., and graduate of Normal Community High School, Kindred was a Dean's List student at IWU and graduated with a degree in business administration (marketing).

A four-year letterwinner as a softball outfielder, Kayla is the daughter of Randy and Martha Kindred of Bloomington.
