COLUMBUS, Ga. - The No. 8-nationally ranked Illinois Wesleyan softball team managed only three hits and lost for the first time this spring, 2-1, to No. 11 Trine before playing a game halted by the time limit against Linfield at the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III Leadoff Classic in Columbus, Ga., on Sunday, March 10.

TRINE GAME
♦ Illinois Wesleyan fell to 4-1 while the Thunder improved to 10-1.
♦ The Titans scored their only run in the sixth when sophomore leftfielder Audra James singled with one out and stole second. With two outs, junior rightfielder Allie Riordan delivered a single to left to bring in James..
