SAN ANTONIO, Texas – In the second round of the Trinity Christmas Classic, the host school, Trinity University, sent the Illinois Wesleyan women's basketball team home with a loss, 86-71, Sunday afternoon, Dec. 29, in San Antonio, Texas.
IWU is 6-5 on the season, while the No. 26-ranked Tigers are 9-2.

Colleen McMahon led the Titan attack with 17 points, while senior
Lexi Baltes (15 points) and junior guard
Kasey Reaber (12 points), also reached double figures. However, two Tigers notched 20 points to help them outscore IWU. Trinity narrowly outrebounded the Titans, 43-39.
Trinity led the Titans at half, 35-31, but exploded in the second half, outscoring IWU, 51-40.
