BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – In the final game of the Beer Nuts Tip-Off Weekend, the Illinois Wesleyan and UW-Stevens Point women's basketball game came down to the wire, concluding in the Pointers' favor, 73-71, Saturday (Nov. 23) afternoon at the Shirk Center.
 
The Titans pick up their first loss on the season, 3-1, while the No. 23 Pointers improve to 3-1.
 
UWSP tallied nine more turnovers than IWU, 24-15, but the Titans had nine more steals than the Pointers, 13-4.
