BALTIMORE, Md. - The Illinois Wesleyan women's basketball team made the most of its road trip to the east coast, defeating Washington and Jefferson College, 84-70, Saturday (Nov. 16) afternoon at Goldfarb Gym for the Mike Durgala Memorial Tournament, as senior Colleen McMahon scored 22 points and senior Lexi Baltes added 14 points with nine assists.

Washington & Jefferson outrebounded IWU 52-49 and the Presidents committed 25 turnovers to 23 for the Titans. The score was tied three times and IWU led by as many as 21 with 17:21 to play in the game after leading by a 40-31 score at halftime.

The Titans will play Salisbury on Sunday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m. Central time. Salisbury was a 68-58 winner over host school Johns Hopkins on Saturday.
