ELSAH, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team was able to keep its undefeated streak alive after finding a victory over Principia College, 1-0, Saturday (September 15) afternoon on the Panthers' turf.
The game between the Titans and Panthers was a back and forth battle, with a majority of the 90-minute match being in a deadlock.
IWU had several saves in the first half and also some missed opportunites on offense to set the halftime score at a 0-0 tie.
But six minutes into the second half, the Titans were able to capitalize with a goal by
Matt LaLonde into an open net.

Andrew Reed had seven saves to PCU goalie Matt Jones' eight.
The Titans will return to game action Tuesday (September 18) when they travel to Chicago, Ill., to take on the University of Chicago at 4 p.m.
