IWU Men's Soccer Shutout at North Park, 4-0

CHICAGO, Ill.. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team fell to 4-4-0 this season as it lost a 4-0 decision at No. 11-ranked North Park on Saturday, Sept. 24, in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin opener for both teams.

Robin Hals had a goal and two assists for the Vikings while Jonas Pettersson, Kris Grahn and Sehten Hills scored the other goals. Fredrik Greiff and Ryan McNaughton provided the other assists.

North Park outshot theTitans, 15-6, and had 10 shots on goal compared to three for IWU, coming from freshman Jared Casey and juniors Jeff Graham and Danny Kenny.

IWU junior goalkeeper Tim Hegwood made six saves in 81:59 of playing time.

Illinois Wesleyan is idle for a week with the next match coming against Simpson on Sunday, Oct. 2, at Neis Field at 12 p.m.
