Stacey Arlis was a school-record 11-of-11 from the field and scored 26 points to lead the Illinois Wesleyan women's basketball team to a 71-58 win over Millikin at the Shirk Center on Tuesday, Feb. 8.
Arlis's 26 points tied her career-high - she also had 26 against Olivet Nazarene (12/13/10) and Wheaton (2/13/10).
Arlis's 11-for-11 (1.000) is a school game record for more than eight made field goals in a game, topping the old mark of .909 held by Christina Solari when she was 10-of-11 against Maryville (Mo.) in an NCAA Division III tournament game on March 7, 2008.
The Titans, who led 37-27 at halftime, improved to 17-4 overall and 9-1 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin while the Big Blue have their record dip to 15-6 this season and 7-3 against conference opponents, with two of the three losses coming to IWU.

Olivia Lett added 12 points and a team-high seven rebounds for Illinois Wesleyan while senior
Hope Schulte handed out a career-high 10 assists. Her previous game high was seven helpers against Olivet Nazarene (12/13/10).
Illinois Wesleyan made 29 of 53 from the field (.547) and connected on seven of 20 3-point free tries (.350) while making six of nine free throws (.667). The Titans scored 38 points in the paint compared to 26 for Millikin.
Millikin shot .400 (18 of 45) from the field and made only two of 13 (.154) from beyond the 3-point arc. The Big Blue made 20 of 31 free throws (.645) and committed 19 turnovers compared to 15 for IWU.
The Big Blue got 18 points and eight rebounds from Elise Wildman and 16 points off the bench out of Heather Pruemmer. Crystal Ziegler had a game-high nine rebounds as Millikin held a 33-28 edge on the boards in the game.
Illinois Wesleyan will play next at Wheaton at 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 12.
