Titan Men's Soccer Loses 2-0 at Rose-Hulman

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team lost a 2-0 non-conference match at Rose-Hulman on Tuesday, Oct. 4.

Illinois Wesleyan fell to 5-5-0 for the year while the Engineers improved to 7-5-0.

The game was scoreless until the final 17 minutes. At 73:23, Ben Green got his fifth goal of the yeat on a shot from 10-feet away into the bottom right corner of the net. Mike Schiff was credited with the assist.

The Engineers' second goal came at 87:43, also from about 10-feet away as William Senat dribbled past a defender for his fourth goal of the year with an assist to Clint Vatterrodt.

The Titans were outshot, 8-6, and IWU junior keeper Tim Hegwood made three saves.

Illinois Wesleyan resumes College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play on Saturday with a 2:30 p.m. match at North Central.
