Titan Men Soccer Falls to Principia, 1-0

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team lost a 1-0 decision to Principia at IWU's Neis Field on Thursday, Sept. 30. The game was replayed after being postponed by weather earlier this month.

Both teams had eight shots and IWU's senior keeper Frank Gorg made three saves.

The only goal of the match came at the 75:19 mark when Daniel Otieno scored his first goal of the season on a kick after a corner entry kick by Elliot Rybak.

Illinois Wesleyan is now 3-5-1 and Principia improved to 3-4-1. The Titans play next at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 6 at home against North Park to open the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin season. The Vikings are 5-2 through games of Sept. 30.
