Box Score 2 ORLANDO, Fla. - The Illinois Wesleyan softball team split a pair of games on Thursday, March 18, in Orlando, Fla., beating Ramapo, 2-1, before losing to Endicott, 7-5 in 11 innings.

Katie Bruins to score. She had reached on a walk to lead off the inning.
Stephanie Jones of Ramapo (4-5 this season) doubled to right center and went to third base on a infield out before Amanda Kent singled up the middle, scoring Jones to tie the game 1-1.
Illinois Wesleyan took the lead in the bottom of the fifth inning when second baseman
Lisa Narotsky walked to lead off the inning and advanced to second on a infield groundout. With two outs, third baseman
Kayla Mahoney hit a single that fell into short centerfield and Narotsky beat the throw home.
Freshman
Alyssa Vorel was the winning pitcher, allowing six hits while striking out four and walking one.
Endicott's Ashley Wright drilled a two-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to hand a tough loss to the Titans and losing pitcher Bruins (1-1) in the nightcap. IWU had rallied from a 2-0 deficit to force extra innings.
