WHITEWATER, Wis. - The No. 1 ranked Illinois Wesleyan women's basketball team won its 49th straight regular season game and improved to 11-0 with an 87-58 drubbing of No. 13-ranked Wisconsin-Whitewater on Jan. 2.

Christina Solari added 11 points and collected a game-high 10 rebounds as IWU outrebounded the Warhawks, 36-29.
The Titans, who led 49-28 at halftime, shot 49 percent from the field (27 of 55) and connected on nine of 25 3-point efforts while committing only 18 turnovers and forcing Whitewater into 27 turnovers. The Titans also connected on 24 of 32 free throw tries and made 14 steals.
IWU led 10-9 with 14:23 to play in the first period before going on a 17-2 run over the next 4:32 to take a commanding 27-11 lead with 9:51 to play before intermission.
Kelsey Hendrickson was the lone Warhawk in double figure scoring, hitting for 16.
