The Titans won the second game 7-3 to improve to 28-3 overall and 12-0 in the CCIW, winning the regular season title for the third straight year. The Titans play at North Park on April 29.
Engel (14-2) struck out five and walked four in her no-hitter and also picked up a save as she pitched three hitless innings in relief of
Val Hackett in game two. In the first game, Hackett and
Kris Lee each had two runs batted in while
Lisa Narotsky had two hits along with
Natalie Chase. The Titans took advantage of four errors by the Bluejays (13-19, 2-12 CCIW).
Narotsky and Lee each had two hits in the nightcap and
Allison Ward had three hits with two RBI while Hackett also had a pair of runs batted in. Hackett (10-1) pitched the first four innings, striking out three.
