Peter Donley

Peter Donley was hired in the summer of 2014 to be the defensive coordinator and faceoff coach for the Illinois Wesleyan men’s lacrosse team.

Donley came to the IWU men’s lacrosse coaching staff after graduating from Susquehanna University in May of 2014 with a degree in business administration.

Currently, Donley is enrolled in the Illinois State University kinesiology and recreation master's program at where he is scheduled to graduate in May 2017 with a master's degree in kinesiology and recreation with emphases in sports management and recreation administration.

At Susquehanna, Donley played on Landmark Conference championship teams in 2013 and 2014 and played in the NCAA tournament in both 2013 and 2014.

In 2016, the Illinois Wesleyan men’s lacrosse team achieved a 13-5 and won a share of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin regular season title as a third year program. In 2016, Illinois Wesleyan ranked 43rd in the nation in faceoff winning percentage.

In 2015, the Illinois Wesleyan men’s lacrosse team had an 11-7 overall record and made a CCIW conference playoff appearance. In 2015, the IWU defense set a school record in scoring defense.
