MANHEIM, Pa. - In the inaugural National Wrestling Coaches Association's Women's Regional Rankings, Illinois Wesleyan University sophomore Alivia Davey (Ripon, Wis.-Berlin) is ranked second in Region IV in the 207-pound weight class. The full rankings can be found here.

Davey is the first IWU women's wrestler to be regionally ranked in program history. The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh transfer qualified for the National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championship last season, where she won her first round bout and had three top-10 finishes in her freshman campaign. Davey posted a first-place finish at the UW-Eau Claire 8-Women Battles in Eau Claire, Wis. in her rookie year.

The Ripon, Wis. native is one of 21 newcomers for the Titans, who open their campaign Saturday, Nov. 1 at the Pointer Open, hosted by University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. The first home dual meet in program history is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 17 at the Shirk Center against No. 3 North Central College.
