Titan Men's Soccer Topped By Simpson, 2-0

INDIANOLA, Iowa - The Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team found themselves on the wrong end of a 2-0 loss to Simpson College at Indianola Middle School on Friday, Sept. 19. The Titans slip to 4-5-0 on the year with the loss.

Simpson took an early 1-0 lead at the 22:18 mark with a header off of a set piece before adding an insurance goal in the 85th minute (84:28) to give the Storm the 2-0 win.

IWU had 11 shots in the match, including three shots on goal while goalkeeper Mark Streid made one save. Zach McEntee made three saves for Simpson.

Illinois Wesleyan completes its two-game Iowa road trip by squaring off with Central College at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20.
