MIKE MURRAY is in his fourth full-time season of his second tenure as
an IWU assistant coach and this year will serve as the team's
defensive coordinator and linebacker coach. In a part-time role in
2005 Murray coached the linebackers. A 1984 IWU grad and former
football and baseball letterman, Murray was an IWU assistant from
1987-96 before becoming head coach at Dubuque (1997-2000) and
Benedictine (2001-02). Before joining Dubuque, Murray spent 10
seasons as defensive coordinator at Illinois Wesleyan, where he also
was head men's and women's track coach, golf coach and recruiting
coordinator. Mike and his wife, Anne (also a 1984 IWU grad), are the
parents of Laura, Amanda, David, and Bryan.
