Shirk Center Women's Basketball Records

The 2019-20 season will be the 25th year of Illinois Wesleyan basketball in the Shirk Center, opened in 1994, where the Titans are 227-74 (.754).
The women's team played the first varsity game at the Shirk Center, hosting DePauw on Nov. 18, 1994.

The $15 million building was dedicated Oct. 15, 1994 and was funded in part by a $5 million gift from the Russell and Betty Shirk Foundation of Bloomington. The Shirk family owns Beer Nuts, Inc., the Bloomington-based snack food company.

The Shirk Center replaced Fred Young Fieldhouse, where the Titans were 40-33 in the final six seasons. Prior to 1987-88, the IWU women's team played at Memorial Gym, now the Hansen Student Center on campus.
