BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Illinois Wesleyan senior defensive back Trevor Staley has been chosen to the 2018 preseason All-America team named by Street & Smith's College Football Annual magazine.
 
Last fall, Staley (Lake Zurich, Ill., HS) was chosen to the second team of the 2017 Associated Press Little All-America Division III football squads and was also a D3football.com first team all-North Region selection.
A first team College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin player, Staley finished third on the Titans with 56 total tackles, including 44 solo, with a team-leading three interceptions for 77 return yards.
 
The other CCIW player named to the 25-player team was North Central senior linebacker DJ Warkenthien.
