Drake Relays Heptathlon Scoring ListDES MOINES, Iowa -- Illinois Wesleyan senior
Allie Boudreau set a school record with 6065 points in the heptathlon, getting a sixth place finish at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, on Thursday, April 23.
Boudreau's total is atop the national Division III rankings this spring and she was the top Division III finisher in the event.
The first place finisher was Heather Miller-Koch, a CPTC New Balance entrant, with 5860 points. She was followed by Lindsay Lettow of the Santa Barbara Track Club with 5749, Fabia McDonald of Mississippi (5707), Brittany Murray of Cornerstone (5171) and Brittany Kelly of Mississippi (5074).
On Thursday, Boudreau won the javelin with a throw of 138 feet-9 inches, nearly 6 inches better than the second place finisher. She was third in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:14.31 and 10th in the long jump at 16 feet-3 inches.
On Wednesday, Boudreau got seventh in both the shot put (34 feet-4 inches) and the 200 meter dash (25.72 seconds), while placing 10th in the high jump (5 feet-3 inches) and 15th in the 100 meter hurdles (15.44 seconds).
On Friday, Boudreau will compete in the javelin and the 4x400 meter relay while senior
Maddie Greybar will throw the javelin and freshman
Molly McGraw will compete in the high jump. The women's 4x100 relay team will also run on Friday.
The IWU men's team of Carl Anderson, Jeff Toraason, Tristan Fox and Danny Krob will run in the distance medley relay on Friday.
