Women's ResultsROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan women's cross country team finished 13th in a field of 35 teams at the Brissman/Lundeen Cross Country Invitational at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Ill., on Friday, Sept. 25. The Titan men placed 25th among 39 teams.
The IWU women had 351 points as the winning team, University of Chicago, had 115.
Junior
Erin McCarey was the women's low finisher, coming in 25th with a time of 23:00.8. Senior
Kelsey Buerger was 43rd with a time of 23:27.6 and juinor
Lydia Rudd came in 70th with her run of 24:05.0.
In finishing 25th, the IWU men had 709 points and were led by freshman
Nolan Tweedy, who had a time of 27:06.4 and was 107th overall. Junior
Danny Krob turned in a time of 27:32.0 and was 140th. The University of Chicago also won the men's race, scoring 74 points.
What's Next?Illinois Wesleyan will compete next in the Millikin H.W. Wright Classic at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, October 3 at Hickory Points Golf Club in Forsyth, Ill.
