2014 NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Regional ResultsWINNECONNE, Wis. - The Illinois Wesleyan women's cross country team finished 13th in the 41-team field of the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional Championships, run at Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, Wis., on Saturday, Nov. 15.
The Titans had a total of 368 points as the regional champion was Washington U.-St. Louis with 62 points, winning its eighth regional title in the last 13 years.
IWU's low finisher in the field of 281 on the 6,000-meter course was senior
Kelsey Buerger, who came in 46th place with her time of 22:46.1. Freshman
Clare O'Donnell had a time of 22:50.0 and finished 51st while junior
Erin McCarey was 58th with her time of 22:56.8.
Others scoring points for the Titans were junior
Amanda Macuiba in 101st place (23:42.1) and junior
Lydia Rudd in 110th place (23:55.0).
The individual winner for the second straight year in the regional was Washington U. senior Lucy Cheadle in a time of 20:55.5.
