Carmin Beck concluded her Illinois Wesleyan women's cross country career with a bang, finishing in the upper half of the field at the 2013 NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championships on Saturday (Nov. 23) morning at ithe nationally-renowned L.S. Ayres Complex in Hanover, Ind.

As an individual for the Titans, Beck finished the nationally-renowned 6K course in a time of 22:44.6 for 116
th place against a field of 280 runners.

St. Scholastica's Chelsea Johnson won the race in a time of 21:11.7, while Johns Hopkins took first as a team with 85 points.

While the cross country season is over for Illinois Wesleyan, the track and field season is just around the corner. The first meet is scheduled for Dec. 7 at the Shirk  Center Indoor Track for the Titan First Chance Meet.
