The Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team will play four exhibition games during an eight-day stay in San Jose, Costa Rica August 6-14.

In addition to the games and practices, the team will avail themselves of sightseeing opportunities, including white water rafting and a rainforest canopy zip line tour.

Foreign travel and competition has become a common practice for Division III teams, used as team building and bonding experiences. Last year, of the final eight teams in the NCAA Division III championships, seven had traveled on a preseason foreign tour.
