BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's and women's indoor track teams were the highest-finishing Division III squads in the 2012 Bob Keck Invitational, placing third and second overall, respectively, on "Seniors' Day" at the Shirk Center on Saturday (Feb. 4).
The men's team amassed 59 points and finished behind Division I Illinois State with 114 and Missouri S&T with 68.
The women's team scored 82 points and trailed only Illinois State with 114.
The Titans took 1-2 in the women's 5000 meter run behind the first place of
Rachael Williams with a time of 18:16.40 and the second place finish of
Elise Anderson in 18:22.66.

Jessica Christy finished first in the 400 meter dash with a time of 58.45 seconds and was on the victorious 4x400 meter relay team along with freshman
Allie Boudreau, junior
Tara Clemens and senior
Lauren Alpert. The winning time was 3:53.89.
The lone indiividual winner for the men was
Aaron Smith in the 800 meter run with his clockng of 1:55.17.

Max Lustick was a close second in the 3000 meter run with a time of 8:38.72, less than a second behing winner Jon Roberts of Illinois State in 8:37.54.

Steven Kirk was second in the weight throw with a heave of 58 feet-9 1/2 inches.
